What is it?
Atomic Film Co. has respooled Kodak Vision 3 250D/5207 film. An iconic motion picture film stock that's hand rolled in convenient 36 exposure 35mm rolls! Processing can be done in C-41 but its highly recommended to use ECN-2.
Atomic Film's Proton film is a medium speed film that takes advantage of the old Vision 2 technology and takes it to the next level by incorporating an advanced grain reduction system. This serves well when photographing shadowy areas.
In addition, there is extended highlight control (over 2 stops). When scanned, details in the highlight areas are recoverable. As a film, it neatly fits into a digital program.
